Selling Agents Fees:
Annual fee to be paid to Council by each Selling Agent for a permit to use the Gracemere Saleyard facilities.

Night Sale Fee:
In addition to the normal yard dues and fees applicable, night sales shall attract a fee of $346.50.00 per night and shall be paid to Council together with the normal yard dues and fees.
Sale Booking Fee:
A fee of $346.50 shall accompany each and every application to conduct sales at the Council's Facilities with the exception of the normal regular sales. Such fee shall be paid by each Selling Agent or by each Selling Owner where no Selling Agent is employed.
Should the sale take place, such fee will be refunded by way of deduction from yard dues at the time of their payment provided yard fees exceed $346.50.
In the event of a sale being cancelled, the Council, if in its sole discretion considers sufficient reason is shown, may refund part of the fee provided notification is in writing and received two (2) months prior to the date for the conduct of the sale.
Yard Dues:
Fees to be paid to Council by each Selling Agent and by each Selling Owner where no Selling Agent is employed, for each head of stock yarded and sold or unsold through the Gracemere Saleyards within fourteen (14) days.

IN ADDITION TO THE FOREGOING FEES, THE SELLING OWNER OF ALL STUD STOCK AND/OR OTHER STOCK SOLD AT A STUD OR SPECIAL SALE (INCLUDING REGISTERED STOCK) IN THE GRACEMERE CATTLE YARDS SHALL PAY A FEE OF ONE AND ONE QUARTER (1.25) PER CENT OF THE GROSS SALE. |

AT AN OPEN AUCTION STORE SALE - $1.58 PER HEAD
CONDITIONS FOR REWEIGHING STOCK:
Complaints and/or disputed liveweights of stock must be -
a) Lodged in writing with the Manager on the day of sale.
b) Stock must remain within the precincts of the saleyards.
c) Reweighing to be conducted as soon as practicable after the sale.
d) Stock must not be fed prior to reweighing.
e) Additional fees and charges may apply (double).

Ø Loading / Spelling Charges:
Fees to be paid to Council by the owners of stock (other than stock offered for sale at the Gracemere Saleyards) for use of loading or unloading facilities and yard accommodation etc.
Use of Yards for Loading/Unloading Cattle: $ 1.37 per head
Use of Yards for Loading/Unloading Pigs, Sheep, Calves etc: $ 1.37 per head
Minimum charge for each use: $42.00
K Wagon, Rail: $42.00
Spelling Ex Sale Cattle held over between Clearing dips (after initial dip, if not cleared in 4 days): $0.74 per head
Non-sale Cattle held over: $2.05 per head

ALL STOCK TO BE FED FROM HAY RACKS OR HAY NETS. FEEDING OF STOCK OFF THE GROUND IS PROHIBITED. ALL HAY MUST BE IN COMPLIANCE WITH QUALITY ASSURANCE REQUIREMENTS AND CERTIFICATES PRESENTED TO THE ADMINISTRATION OFFICE BEFORE ENTERING THE SALEYARDS.

Ø Dipping Fees:
Fees to be paid to Council by the owners of stock dipped at the Gracemere Saleyards facilities:-
Cattle / Horses, Single Dipping $2.52
Bulls, Single Dipping $3.78
Ø NLIS:
Private scanning $5.99 per head
Replacement/Emergency Tags $5.99 per tag
Ø Sundries:
Hire of Branding Furnace (gas included) $6.51+ $0.32 per head
Hay Rack Hire - Square Bales $16.80/ Day
Hay Rack Hire - Round Bales $22.05/Day
Ø Consignment Fee:
Upon approval by Council of an appropriate application, a Consignment License for pigs only shall be issued. The charge for such license shall be $357.00 per annum plus $1.05 per head consignment fee.
Ø Yard Operations:
The Gracemere Saleyards will be locked between the hours of 4.00pm and 7.00am, except where a curfew applies and stock shall not be received in, nor delivered from the yards, during these hours unless by special arrangement.
Curfew time for regular Friday Sales 9.00pm the night prior to sale.
Curfew time for Small Stock Sales 11.00am on the day of the sale.
Ø Paddock Rental:
* (1) Several paddocks to be rented on a long term basis at $1081.50 per annum.
(Where additional costs are involved, these will be passed on to tenant)
* (2) The remaining paddocks to be rented on a weekly basis at $0.71 per head per day.
(3) The paddocks rented must not to be sublet.
* Prior arrangement with management is necessary for these services.
Ø Hawker's Sites:
The renting of hawker's sites at the Gracemere Saleyards shall be based on the following fees:-
(i) Site area 3 x 3 metres $59.85 per site per day
(ii) Site area 6 x 6 metres $119.70 per site per day
(iii) Markets & Stalls 3 x 3 metres $27.30 per site per day
(iv) Powered sites ($16.60 extra)
Prior booking in with management is necessary and fees must be paid seven (7) days in advance.
Ø Exhibition Centre Hire:
Selling Ring $309.75 per day (7am - 5pm)
$493.50 per day/night (7am - 10pm)
$241.50 per night (6pm - midnight)
Board Room $73.50 per day or part there of.
Multi-Function Room $97.65 for first 4 hours during the day (any part of the day)
$160.65 (4 hours or more)
$122.85 for night (6pm - 10pm)
AUSTADIUM
Ø Hire of Undercover Arena: $367.50 per day (9am to 3pm)
$556.50 per day/night (9.am to 9pm)
Night use only $425.25 per night (6pm to 11pm)
$ 61.95 per hour (outside of above times)
Annual Club/Non Profit Usage $300.00 per year plus $60.00 per event/day
Night use only $ 25.00 per hour in addition to the above
(i.e. $87.15 per day/ night)
Ø Hire of Stables: $19.00 per day
(including use of Wash Facilities)
Ø Camping: $18.00 per night
Ø Hire of portable panels: $6.20 per panel (on site only)
Ø Hire of Stock Yards: $1.26 per head
Ø Hire of Campdraft Facilities: $246.75.00 per day
Changes required to the arena surface will attract a separate charge in addition to the above charges.
Each organization must provide a copy of a satisfactory current Public Liability Insurance Policy at the time of the booking.
A cleaning Bond will apply in all instances, in addition to the normal Fees and charges and shall be equal to the level of the hire charges. This Bond will be refunded, if in the opinion of the Council's Manager, the facilities used are left in a clean and tidy condition at the time of vacating the premises. Should the circumstances be to the contrary, the Bond is not refundable.

GENERAL POLICIES
Permits to Operate:
1. A permit granted by Council under this By-law may be subject to such terms and conditions as the Council may deem fit to impose, and such terms and conditions shall be set out in the permit.
2. If any person to whom a permit has been granted under this by-law fails to comply with or contravenes any term or condition set out in such permit, he shall be guilty of an offence.
3. The Council may, at its discretion, refuse any application for a permit or renewal of a permit made by any person or company, or by notice in writing served on the holder of any permit, may cancel, or suspend, or refuse to renew an existing permit for good cause shown.
Every Selling Agent, when making application for a Permit to operate at the Gracemere Complex or applying for a renewal of a Permit, shall produce to the Manager or his delegate their current Auctioneer's Licence.
The Manager shall, when issuing the Permit, note the current Auctioneer's Licence No. of the Selling Agent on the permit form.
Permits will not be issued if the applicant fails to produce his current Auctioneer's Licence.
I hereby certify that these Permits, Fees, Charges and Policies etc. are a true and correct record of the Council's By-laws and Minutes compiled, levied and documented in accordance with the provisions of "The Local Government Act 1993".
